My favourite things are my husband (Jon), our two incredible children, our pets (2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 rabbits) and spending time in our home. We all love gardening, being outside and are lucky to have fields and forests on our doorstep, which is perfect for dog walks.
Things that make me happy are Vegatsu Curry from Wagamama, open fires, a clear sky to see the stars, a big Sunday veggie dinner followed by a family film, holidays to places I’ve not visited before, waterfalls and pineapple covered with rock salt!

– Maya Angelou
Chief Operations Officer
I’m originally from Yorkshire. I am married to Sam and we have two children, two cats and two dogs – it’s a busy house, but I love it!
I am a huge Rugby Union fan and support the Leicester Tigers. My favourite style of food is Vietnamese. I love the outdoors and natural world, running my own Landscaping and Garden maintenance business for a time. Travelling excites me and top of my list to visit next is Japan.
“Think good thoughts, speak good words, take good actions”
– Nishan Panwar
I have been working in financial services for 20 years. I have a wealth of experience helping my clients to get a mortgage regardless of their situation, I genuinely love building long lasting relationships.
I have a partner and 2 children and they are always keeping me busy. When the weather is nice I love to get out in nature, go on long country walks and have a nice meal. I also enjoy Yoga, curling up with a good book or getting engrossed in a thrilling drama. My absolute favourite thing though is to laugh, nothing feels better than having a good belly laugh with friends!
“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds you plant”
– Robert Louis Stevenson
Home Insurance Co-Ordinator
I’m a big foodie and I love to cook. I bake as much as possible in my spare time, the salted caramel brownies have made me very popular in the office!
I have a wonderful husband, two beautiful children and a (very lively) black lab at home. We enjoy a good muddy walk and try to get to the seaside as much as we can for a bit of camping, bodyboarding and even more walking. I love a good book and the odd spa day now and then!
“Kindness – that simple word. To be kind – it covers everything, to my mind. If you’re kind that’s it”
– Roald Dahl
Since graduating from uni with a degree in literature, I have enjoyed a career centred around client relationship roles, initially in animal health and later in human health and financial services. My number one passion will always be family, I have enjoyed many an adventure with my wonderful husband, our two children and a three legged rescue called Bennie.
Home and all things Property will always be a huge passion. If I’m not poring over Pinterest, I can be found restoring a battered old country antique or working on our quirky old cottage, paintbrush in hand.
“Look for something positive in each day, even if some days you have to look a little harder”
– Brian Ford
Mortgage and Protection Consultant
I’ve been in the financial services industry for the past 18 years. I love helping clients and also providing education for children in relation to finances.
I love being outdoors and doing anything active. My favourite kind of day would be to spend the day outdoors either walking or biking with my husband and two children and ending up in a nice sunny pub garden.
“What if I fall? Oh, but my darling, what if you fly”
– Erin Hanson
I’ve worked in the financial services industry for many years. I’m a single dad with 3 children, including 8 year old twins. I volunteer with the scout association helping at and organising events. I also work at a local scout campsite, managing the woodland and teaching archery. When I’m not busy doing all that I like to cook, watch films or a good crime drama or tinker with vintage bikes in the garage.
“Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, you’re probably right”
– Henry Ford
I’m a mum to a wonderful, crazy little boy. I live in a lovely little village in Leicestershire with my partner and our naughty sausage dog Franklin. My favourite things include walks in the countryside, family days out, going out for food and a bath full of essential oils. I love all things home, renovations and interiors! My lifetime dream is to live in Ibiza one day (my favourite place in the world).
“Start each day with a grateful heart”
I have several years of industry experience having worked in conveyancing and mortgage administration. I have 3 very energetic boys at home, I love nature, being outdoors and exploring new areas. One of my favourite places to be is at our family caravan in Norfolk; it’s our happy place! When I’m not running around after my boys, I enjoy watching David Attenborough documentaries or a good BBC series, crafting or curling up on the sofa with a good book!
“The most important work you will ever do will be within the walls of your own home”

What our valued clients say about us
Feedback on how we look after you is so important to us, not only so new clients can hear directly from existing and valued clients, but also so that we can continue to develop and grow.
As soon as I heard about Mindful Mortgages, I could tell they would be what I was looking for in a Mortgage Adviser. I was a First Time Buyer and felt apprehensive about it all, they made sure everything was covered and explained but they always made me feel as if it was about me and my home. Now I have moved in (very happy!) and I can honestly say I have recommended them to everyone I know!
Sophie R – Sep 19
We have just moved into a bigger family home and whilst we had dealt with our own mortgages previously, this time, we were looking for someone to take care of everything for us. Mindful Mortgages not only arranged our mortgage and everything with it, but we also felt like they held our hand with the whole process.
Henry and India – Oct 19
Friendly, genuine and always there for us. Couldn’t ask for anything more, we had unusual circumstances and really felt looked after at all stages. Spot on service and we are very happy to recommend.
